#damselthetraveller: The Best of Bangkok, Thailand

Thailand is the 50th largest country in the world. With rugged mountains in the north and world-famous tropical beaches in the south, it is a land of pristine beauty. With its diverse geography, friendly people, and stunning scenery, the “Land of a Thousand Smiles” is a must-see destination in South East Asia. Culturally there are many practices and beliefs that are very different to those from Western societies. One of their local traditional greetings is with two hands prayer – like palms together while saying sawa dee ka (if a woman is saying that word) or sawa dee krap (if men are saying that word). With those of the locals and their cultures and traditions what comes first in your mind when you heard of Bangkok? tadaaaaaaa…shoppingggggggggg…………yes definitely! That is why Bangkok is one of the shopping destination of the world. It’s only a 3 hours away from the Philippines and an hour late from us. So without further a do, please scroll down. Hope you enjoy it!
